I bought from head to toe(matching shoes). It was her big day, I wanted her to be happy and satisfied with everything including her honor of bridemaid. So unless they are your very close friends, don't accept to do so, it is very costly. However, I bought my dress myself(she only told me what cold and general style she would prefer), not cheap though, only wore once so far.
