Help!

My daughter's bithday is in Dec and she is 5 and half now. She was put in K program last year in her day care since the teacher thought she was ready. I registered a private school's 1st grade for her. But my hu*****and wanted sending her to public school because it is one of the best public schools in NJ. We sent her to that school and teacher put her in K again. The first week, my daughter told me it was boring since every thing they taught she already knew. She said she did not like it. She already read Magic Tree House, but the teacher only teach how ot write A, B, C in class. (She was the top student in her old day care K program.) This morning teacher talked with me and said she noticed what she taught was too bacis for my daughter and she will give her a test and then maybe put her in 1st grade when they have reading class, which means my daughter still in K program but does 1st grade reading.

I am thinking to put my daughter in that private school. Is that better? Or if they let my daugher in 1st grad reading is better? For me it sounds more complicated.

Please give me some suggestion about what should I do. Thanks a lot!
