For 15K/yr difference with Rutgers, NEU is the best bet

RPI is no longer as good as it used to be, especially reputation. 

BU/NYU for 70k+/yr, probably not worth it.

40K NEU vs 25K Rutgers - NEU is a better value. 

Boston is arguably one of the best (if not the best) towns in the world to attend college.

NEU overall student profile is now stronger than that of BU  and still rising.  

Location, unique co-op programs, rising rep, pretty strong student body, reasonable cost - all these favor NEU.
