I don't know whether graduate school is something that you are considering, but you were one of the stand-out students taking the YYY course and, if future studies were of interest to you, I'm sure that you would excel! If you wanted to discuss what it's like taking a PhD etc. then I would be happy to chat about that at some point.

Equally, there are many things outside of academia for which you could put your skills to good use, so you can simply take this e-mail as an ego boost. :)
