Befeore we knew his ed was successful, I asked him that if his ED was denified, and if another school provides full riding for him, (it is also a very good one), will he still want to apply for ivy ones? He did not give me the final answer, but i felt he prefers to going to that full ride one. At that point, it will be all his decision; we parents will simply help him to find pros and cons.
