MOST people's savings will be used in the last two years.  No matter how much you have.  If you live in nursing home, the cost is $7000/month (now).  When you retire, it costs may up to $9000/month.  How much you left for you?

One thing that I can tell you, your children will no money to you and no time to visit you while the last 2 years.
