The driving force for him seems to be power and money! 

That is quite different than the driving force in S & T, where power and money are seldom mentioned.

好 is a different thing in 做官经商, or S & T. For example, what is 好 S & T??

What 楼主讲的 is entering into a field, not doing great in the field.
