about intern offer

Finally my son got one 2016 summer inter offer, but he has to make decision before 1/28. He wonder if he needs to apply for any other company intern or just accept this one. If he accepts this offer, does that mean he should not apply for any other opportunity? There is a Spring job fair coming soon. Any suggestion or advice? Thank you!
