晒一下 不玩游戏的老大 :

老大 上大一了，也没玩过游戏。但早恋。

孩子不是牛娃，连藤的边都没沾上。

但跟他自己比，强太多。

9年级 时，相当懒散，还得过F。我那时就想，他能上个社区大学，到新东方当个ESL 老师，能养活自己，就知足。可他 还不爱当老师。他那时脾气 躁得很，真当不了老师。


活动够多吧？
可人家高中4年的重心是早恋. 合合分分的, 可热闹了 .
后来他自己说，他用在学习的精力只有10%。

我可羡慕 nerd 的孩子了，大人都跟着省心。甚至，玩游戏都比早恋强。
就是想想，到老二 还是不让碰游戏。吸取教训，给老二安排了好多活动，让他忙不过来。

但, 没玩过游戏   他是绝对没影响 社交
北边的学校 是跟同学拼车 去参观的。有2个家长 当司机。
南边的，全程是他自己安排。订票，蹭住，咨询。。。

Hey mom. Just wanted to update you on everything. 

My schedule has just been finalized. Took some really hard classes, but got pretty great teachers. 

My roommate and I get along really well. We go to church together and really enjoy spending time together. 

I found two Christian groups that I have been participating in. ACF and JCA. Both are great organizations and I really enjoy being in both. 

I also got a job! The people at Hillel absolutely loved me and hired me on the spot! 

The food here is getting boring really quickly. I don't know how I'll be able to eat this for another year...

 只母亲节回来一周.  他申请到一份学校的暑期工。

On the first day my roommate and I had to move rooms due to a faulty toilet. He made that happen immediately. Last night when we returned to Emory he was there to greet us, assisted me with some computer issues and helped tremendously by dropping some important documents for me in the mail today when I could not find a mailbox. He followed through with me to assure me everything had been sent. He is extremely poised, articulate and by far the most responsible young man I have ever met in 18 years as a college counselor. Emory is so lucky to have him as a student!
