Chinese new year - Class event

I had a talk with school teacher today and she wanted the class (Kindergarten) to have an event day for Chinese New Year. As the only Chinese family in class, I feel obligated to contribute (Actually, I am very happy to do that to let more kids learn about China and know the positive sides of China!).  Now, with 1 week time, I need to plan for it.

Anyone here knows about good activities , gifts, food, etc that fit in these kind of occasion?  
Will appreciate any  ideas!  Thanks in advance...
