请帮忙看看校长关于请假的回信

想去度个假，需要一年级娃请假3天半。老师让问校长有关policy. 请看校长的回信：

Thank you for your email.   We also thank you for understanding that we must follow district policy and state attendance law.  Travel days are unexcused.  I hope you have a nice trip.  

请有经验的爸爸妈妈帮看看，这是说我可以让孩子缺课了吗？有什么不良影响吗？
