my son was the same. do not worry.

My son was very sensitive to light and could not tolerate water in the eye while he was very little.  He was very sensitive to "scary" part in any cartoon movies and books.  It just means that he was not ready.  Do not compare your child with others because each kid is unique.

No need to worry about autism.  Actually gifted kids are normally very sensitive.
