去年一个小中男选了USC Full s, instead of USB and CMU.

My D does not like USB at beginning, she thought it's too comptitive and too big class.. Her major is not CS, Dartmouth is strong at the field she study. She wanted a college life with various new things. And it's far away from parents:) - from her point of view, it's pretty good - I guss. 
If she is OK with UCB, I will support her. We were struggle to choose Dartmouth or USC Mork scholar, in the end, I let her made final decision, My point is: each kid is different, choose the best fit one for her/him. 
Does your kid OK with competitive enviroment? OK for super big class? I heard the the CS has class ove1000+.. OK with selfstudy in most time? etc, his/her oppoions?
