About ADD/ADHD， please help

我儿今年12岁，人善良友好。 他爱讲话，常在不合适的时候说不合适的话，尤其在课堂上，为此老师大都不喜欢他，认为他rude, not respectful. 他为此感觉也很不好。 
我一度认为这是父母教育不当，加上孩子性格导致。我们经常在家里教育他，也不停地反思自己。


原以为孩子大了，会慢慢懂事好起来的，但事实并非如此。老师对他“disrupt" 课堂纪律很有意见。他老说所有的老师都“hate"他，性格也变得内向，负面不自信。我心里真是着急担心。


他有别的siblings, 都没这个问题。他学习也没问题。

我查了ADD/ADHD symptoms,  觉得儿子符合大部分symptoms of impulsivity in ADD/ADHD.

我想找学校phycologist 谈谈，然后再做个 evaluation。  如果真是 ADD/ADHD,   我们可以跟老师谈谈，这样他在学校的日子会好过些，我们也可以配合老师帮帮他。 只是不知道这会不会记录在案，影响到他的未来。

  Symptoms of impulsivity in children:

  • Acts without thinking
  • Blurts out answers in class without waiting to be called on or hear the whole question
  • Can’t wait for his or her turn in line or in games
  • Says the wrong thing at the wrong time
  • Often interrupts others
  • Intrudes on other people’s conversations or games
  • Inability to keep powerful emotions in check, resulting in angry outbursts or temper tantrums
  • Guesses, rather than taking time to solve a problem
