I pretend to be strong even when I’m scared
I feel confident when hanging with my friends
I touch the soft, warm fur on my dog
I worry about losing the people I love
I cry when I have to leave my friends

I understand that I need to grow up
I say “Believe in yourself,” everyday
I dream one day to be champion horse rider
I try to do my best in everything
