Let him go

I really love what you wrote.  I am so afraid I will become one of those mother-in-laws because I have a son.  He is ony 6-year-old.  I love him so much.  I know that one of these days I have to let him go, one of these days he'll fall in love with a woman (hopefully it's a woman, ha-ha ...), and one of these days I'll be old.  I hope I will step away, let him have his own life and I also enjoy mine.  It's going to be hard as I think about it now.  But I have to realize he's an independent person.
