sorry if you felt that way, just want to point out there is nothing wrong in my original wording. Namely, feeling/be-conscious- of-someone by saying "Apprehend somebody" is nothing strange or out-of-date. It is actually more poetic. I probably should not have used it at first place to confuse some people here.
