My 4 year old sprayed insect repellent on my leather sofa

one day. I didn't know until later. He used the whole bottle of spray. We didn't let him play with it before. So now he found an opportunity to spary it all over my new leather sofa set. I tried to wipe it but there were spots and marks all over. I was really mad. But later thinking about it, he is too young to understand. I gave him time out. He was very sad too after he saw me get so angry.
