i have the exactly opposite opinion on this.

Since the children here have too many choices, they are very easy to get frustrated and change to anothe activity. One thing I really emphasize to my child is "insistance". I know many american young adults that are so surprisingly easily to get frustrated. Something is clearly wrong during their education. I believe insistance sometimes really comes from endurance, which is easily to adapted for a person who lives in a bad enviorment. They have to struggle to have a better life.
