I just bought one for my daughter for her skating camp.

She told me that her classmates all use ZUCA bag to carry skates, etc.  Yes I understand it's too heavy for her to carry skates, knee pads, gloves, changing clothes around the places.  It is expensive but since she skates a lot I believe it's a good investment.
