CT should be OK.

Make sure the child has a friendly environment with a lot of human interactions everyday. I stress this because a child with delays(not something good, but not necessarily something bad either) in an environment with more active kids may be discouraged to participate and become timid.

As high as 20% of all children have developmental delays that require professional therapies. Check out local governmental agencies what they recommend. You may need go through evaluations (more for developmental rather than physical) and they will determine an appropriate program.
