I am doing research in neuroscience. The opinion you cited is just a hopythesis. No exact evidence shows early education will torture the neuronal growth process. Actually now human beings know very little about learning and memeroy process. Even in the paper you cited, they just dare say "possible", "might be". Nobody really knows.
