Your post shows that you are a dedicated/determined mom!

I am not a big fan of pushing kids. But I did spend significant amount of time to read with my kid when he was little. After elementary school, he was on his own. he just love reading. I will never teach kids to learn just for the sake of testing. I did not push him to 背 vocabulary for SAT as suggested by some parents on this board. At the end of the day, things work out well for us.
