already and I just turned in the citizenship application for both of us. I should have done that when he didn't have the green card yet. But even though he broke my ankle and took out a kitchen cleaver to threaten to kill my olderson, I still worried for his immigration status and wouldn't tell the people in the shelter the truth because I was worried he would be deported. Then he might go back to China and hurt my family. Too late now.
