Go to a craft store such as Michael's or JoAnn Store (depending on where your are). I guess that you will like it after some attempts. Everybody has a heart for creativity that is often buried by daily chores( including boring works).

If you really get into it, allocate a small budget each month (say $20; I just toss a figure) and try something different once a while. There are packages for starters for almost any craft project. If your daughter is still young( say under 10) she will be bedazzled to see you making all sorts of things.
