UCB is just a public school, not matter how good it is, public is not good for under.

Cornell engineering is small, meaning more resources for kids.

 

for engineering, i can't imagin that you don't go to graduate school. in engineering, undergrad is too low, no meaningful job. so he will have chance to go to a better grad school.

if he graduate with top score from cornell, he can go to any top grad school in US.
