this is a great choice.  congradulation to you and your son.  he has to be very strong academically and overall.

as the thing drags on, kids will choose P.  peer pressure will make him take P.  science financial is not a problem, you may have to let the kid choose.

if the kid will go academic or wall street, he definitely should take P.  but, if medical school is what he would like to go, Duke AB will be a better choice.  P has GPA deflation, which hurt medical school application.  but it is a stronger academic school.
