Just because you met many people in your circle that had committed to this type of fraud? If that's the case, you should probably reevaluate your philosophy of making friends. Maybe you are having a problem of 交友不慎. I am amazed seeing that you were making a big deal out of her sentence “作为一名只身带着孩子闯荡美国的中国女人”. I see nothing wrong with the sentence. The effort of linking the sentence to some sort of fraud is a huge stretch and quite laughable.  Although we are all entitled to our own opinions, it simply didn't make you look good throwing a nasty allegation to a poor women at the happiest moment in her life. I wish you good luck in your life and hope our Chinese could treat each other a bit nicer...
