我是该哭还是该笑？

虽然女儿没有上藤。 但是一说她@学校的表现.  我这爱吹牛皮的老爸还是笑的时候多. 

这不人家 已经录取入一个很名知的国家实验室的暑假 advanced individual research program.  The admission rate is only 3%.

Her plan is to continue at current school to get a Master's degree (5 year coterm).  She is getting straight A in the class room and several jobs making $$, including a RA (Dorm) job so her room and board are paid for. 

很牛, 是不是? 

But, her long term plan is to join the Peace Corps. Because she wants to fulfill her sincere personal desire.  我是该哭还是该笑？

While the parents here are debating their kid going to Wall street, being a lawyer or a MD.  Mine wants to help others in need at the worst part of the earth.  我是该哭还是该笑？

may be she has her 远大理想.  But I 想哭. 想大哭.  团抱. 请给我一个团抱 (group hug)
