What kind of interns she has done so far, especially during the summer following the freshmen year? It would bet it was a different landscape a few years back, but now the elite companies (IB or consulting) are not targeting freshmen for interns at all, even for Wharton students; my D is interviewing and competing for a summer TA position at W right now.
