It all depends on the parent's expectation for

the asperger child, social-emotionally and academically now and in the future.

If you wants him to achieve at the same level as a normal kid with similar IQ, he'll need a lots of support and training. Becuase his asperger isn't severe, so the  school won't provide these service he needs.
