Different parents have different focus for their kids.

To me, I will not send my kid to this kind of schoolat elementary level due to;
- he has no motivation for study now, if too pushy, he will feel the pressure
- too competitive, he will be under a lot of pressure
- no time to enjoy sports which needs almost all his after school time
- our first priority is to build confidence and being social, playing with local kids is more convenient and efficient
