About the National % thing. I never said getting a 98% is not an accomplishment. All I said was that is very typical for our Chinese kids. That does not warrant any special excitement. I believe many parents here also express the same. Basically, I was just try to let that Mom know that she needs to continue to push and not be just satisfied with 98%.

I guess if it might be better recieved had I used a more positive tone.
