because I just felt like that is very typical of Chinese kids. In our area, my D is even the top student among Chinese kid. There is this boy whose parents are all top university Ph.D. He is sooo smart that he felt really bad when he get 2nd place in one competition because he was having 100 F fever.

Don't get me wrong, 98% is not bad. But just not that great.
