That's what I did too. But when I was chatting with a friend about this she said it's better to put kids as primary beneficiary. The reasonn is that in case sth happens to the wife and the hu*****and gets married again (and/or have kids with the new spouse), then the benefits he gets from the life insurance may become common property of the new couple (and/or their kids), and that the kids of the previous spouse may have reduced benefits because of this.
