Who is your life insurance beneficiary?

Who do you assign as your life insurance beneficiary?
(1) spouse
(2) parents
(3) Children

My wife told me she wants to have her parents as 100% beneficiary. Her argument is that I have good income which is enough to take care myself and our two kids.

I thought it is kind awarkard for parents as 100% beneficiary, what do you think about her motivation?
