Tennis is a good sport to get in, especially for girls.

My first post. I think the reward for tennis would be potentially good. Several (6-7) chinese boys from So Cal last year were recuited by top Ivy schools, MIT and Stanford. My son started playing tennis at 9 (late) with variable 2-4 hrs per week play time and he is not very motivated. He is a single starter of a Div I HS Vasity team as a freshman last year. But competition is high for boys when compare to girls. Div I Colleges may offer up to 8.5 scholarships for girls but only 4.5 for boys. I have two boys.
