Agreed, though it is a luxury for many people to have

what they're passionate about as their daily job. But we as parents certainly should try not ruining (consciously or unconsciously) the passion of our kids at an early age.

Shouldn't we have a discussion on what to avoid doing so we don't ruin their passion?
