I chaged hotels everynight when I visited yellow stone in 2006. first night in west yellow stone. the sencond night in jackson holes, 3rd night in Gardiner (north) and fourth night in Cody. I don't think you will have time to go back to same hotel every night as the park is huge. Have a fun time. Enjoy time with animals.
