There are no choice but go thru Park concession, if you want to stay inside park. The Pro is the location the con is pricing and old facilities.

The last day you can stay outside park. Grand Teton area does not have economy lodging. West Yellowstone (West entrance) have choices for decent lodging below 90.

I almost have everything mapped out and actually reserved one lodging at Big Sky, MT on the last night. Now everything might change again.

Yes, if you can book on the hotel's own website, the cancellation policy is much much easier.
