The Nike Weight Plates

The GYM I go to just got a set of  new plates

 

 

The Nike plates.  First time, I have seen this kind of very thoughtful design, ruber coating (easy for hands), "handles"(easy to grab and carry) and polygon shape (not easy to roll by themselves). Wonder why people did think about making such plates in the past.
