I think you wanted to make a point here for the rural, uncivilized nature of the places. Do you know that the Gobi desert housed the Chinese "Los Alamos" labs? They may well be inside your photo somewhere. :) So I guess civilization or not, it all depends on magnifications (scales) you use to observe. just another 2 cents. hehe...
