is a 1973 American romantic dramatic film

co-starring Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford,

directed by Sydney Pollack. 

 

 

 

 

Mmm. Mmm. 嗯 嗯Memories, light the corners of my mind

记忆，照亮我心灵的角落

 Misty watercolor memories of the way we were.

 水彩雾般 我们的曾经

 Scattered pictures of the smiles we left

 片片段段 我们往昔欢笑的画面 

 behind smiles we give to one another

 微笑后面 我们相互拥有

 for the way we were.

 那就是我们

 Can it be that it was all so simple then

 是那时的一切都那么单纯吗

 or has time rewritten every line?

               还是 时光已重写了记忆里的滴滴点点？             

 

 

If we had the chance to do it all again

如果有机会从头再来

 tell me would we? Could we?

 告诉我 愿意吗？ 能够吗？

 Memories, may be beautiful and yet

 回忆，也许美丽 然而

 what's too painful to remember

  记那些不快 太令伤感

 we simply choose to forget

 我们干脆将之忘却

 So it's the laughter we will remember

 而 只把欢笑留恋

 whenever we remember

 无论何时想起

 the way we were.
