我正在读 watching the english---------------the hidden rules of english behaviour.

我们都知道英国人喜欢聊天气，如果你以为是英国天气多变才导致这样，那就错了。其实英国人喜欢聊天气，是醉翁之意不在酒。它可能是： 1， 打个招呼。 2， 试探一下是否可以和你聊天。3， 在长聊中的一种调剂。

怎么应答呢？是有规矩的，答的不对，有可能冒犯别人。记住下面两点就行了。

1，agree

总是 agree: eg. cold, isn't it?---------------- yes, isn't it.  or: yes, very cold.

不能说：no， i don't think so.

2, wether as family

不能批评和藐视人家的天气，eg.isn't it hot? 如果你说：call this hot? this is nothing. you should come to china if you want see hot.那就很RUDE 了。

人家并不是真正的和你谈什么天气，别那么认真。
