Whether you can use your residential address as your company address depends upon the type of the building you currently live. Most residential buildings in the UK are not allowed to be used for business purposes because the council tax for business address is considerably higher than normal address. You cannot register your company using your residential address if your current address falls into this categories. However, there are maybe some exceptions for some addresses. Ask your local council for more information.
