Look at Greece, public sector retirement age raised from 53 to 67 in one go, 13th/14th month salary eliminated, pay freeze, hire freeze... the country is in chaos, humiliation, and depression...

it's not about who's paying for whom, and don't worry - the rich and the middle class will continue paying for the poor regardless...but collectively, this country will be bankrupt if the bloated public sector is not cut back... the poor also deserve for the money to be spent productively, not wasted!
