T1 visa and PR in UK

Would like to get some feedback from friends in the UK.

If working in UK under T1 visa, it is easy to get PR (self and family)? if so, normally after how many years of experience can you apply for it and how long will be the likely waiting period. Appreciate insights here. thanks a lot.
