失业了，去job center plus注册有用吗？

我理工科博士毕业，做过几年博士后，现在失业了，由于研究方向很窄，很难找工作，去job center plus注册有什么用？

我是女人，对我的研究也觉得不很感兴趣，请推荐还能做什么好？我需赚钱养家。
