New purchased SFH kitchen cabinets fall

and tenant claim that hurt him. It is a flip by previous owner and I bought last month. The cabinets installed to dry wall by several nails that won't bear any weight.
If the tenant take legal action, shall I let insurance handle it or bring the previous owner into this. Any suggestions?
