(2) you may recover if ... (a) any action under 83.20 (b) surrender (c) abaondonment.  

3 day notice is required in 83.20.  But you are not recovering under (a), but under (c). You have actual knowledge of abandonment, so you can change the lock per 83.05 (2)(c), without even waiting for anything defined in 83.20, refered to (83.05 (2)(a), referencing to 83.20)
